Eat Your Projections

# 54 Eat Your Projections
Want to get full real fast?
Just learn to eat your projections.
Let’s say you’re criticizing someone. (Hypothetically, of course. :))
I’ll be the example: In my less enlightened moments (still tragically too often), I find myself criticizing my Goddess about not doing something she committed to doing (like meditating, getting up early, or something like that).
Now, here’s the funny thing: When *I* am doing those things, I never criticize her. It’s only when I’m not living my life fully that I give her a hard time.
So, what I’m doing is projecting my own issues onto her. Not cool.
The secret: whatever we’re criticizing someone about has nothing to do with them and everything to do with us.
The rule: don’t put your projections on other people. Eat ‘em. Yum.
Price Quote on Forgiveness
The following is taken from John Randolph Price's book
Nothing
Is Too Good To Be True
and is very similar to the principles of ho'oponopono, and my experience with it.
To forgive means to cease feeling ill will toward anyone, but in truth there's really nothing to forgive. You've never done anything wrong, no one has ever done anything to you, and life is only what you've made up- what you've created. Every decision you've ever made in life was simply a choice, and through those choices, your life has taken many twists and turns. But none of them were right or wrong- it's just where vou were in consciousness. So there's nothing to forgive yourself for. And rather than going back and rehashing the past and wishing you'd done things differently, just love the mind-set that made the choice and get on with life. Pause and do this now.
By loving what you consider your mistakes, you change the energy pattern on the unconscious level from regret to acceptance of where you were at the time.
Now look at the people inn your life, and know that it's your consciousness in the projection mode that's attracting or repelling them. No one has done, or is doing, anything to you. The people in your life are all neutral, but will play out an experience for you in direct accordance with the tone and pitch you're playing in consciousness. They're simply showing you what you're projecting on them, so there's nothing to forgive them for. The secret in dissolving this energy is to love those who are playing a role on your stage of life for playing their parts perfectly- parts that you've scripted on both the conscious and unconscious levels
. Smile and nod at them now in appreciation.
