Yesterday when I got out of bed, I noticed there was a bright pink stone lying on the floor beside the bed. I can only assume that the puppy found this somewhere. Where, I have no idea!
I had bought the stones to go with an oracle my friend showed me. In this system pink equals, love/relationships/sexuality. Another message from the puppy to go with the Knight of Wands card of a few weeks ago??
And then last week he brought me the celestial-themed bookmark that used to be in my dream journal. It is weird that he never really brings me anything else except chewies and then these things- all associated with magic.
I have a friend that had a fluffy black cat that would do tarot readings. We'd spread the cards out, and she'd put her paw on one and look at you knowingly like "If I were you, I'd pick this one." She was uncannily accurate. Her name was Pyewackett, named after a witch's familiar. Panzer the puppy has Pyewackett beat in that he seeks out the witchy items and delivers them right to me hehe. Take that Pyewackett! hehe.
I shut off the shower and was getting ready to open the curtain to get out when I heard the puppy come into the room. He walked over to the garden tub and stepped up onto the step with his front paws. I thought maybe he was curious to see what a shower was all about. When I pulled back the curtain he was standing there with something in his mouth which I at first assumed was a chewy that he was trying to tell me he wanted to go out bury. Then he kinda shifted the thing in his mouth and put his head back up by my hand, and I realised it was a TAROT CARD, and he gently GAVE IT TO ME! It was the Knight of Wands upright.
Now there are several remarkable elements to this story.
1. He is a 6 month old German Shepherd/Rottweiler puppy. When he shows you something in his mouth, he usually wants to play and will not easily relinquish anything (yet!). Hasn't learned that.
2. He had to maneuver around a chair that was pushed back and equipment to get to the other side of the computer where the cards were.
3. And there was a cat lying there- which normally becomes his only obsession. Why he thought to forgo licking the kitty 'til her head was in his mouth (as per usual) and pick up one of those cards (out of all the ones that had fallen on the floor, I am guessing) and take it to me in another room, I have no idea!
4. There is not the slightest toothmark on the card. He was holding it by the very corner. Like he was being careful. You should see my other deck that he's chewed on when I left them on the bed.
Ok, so back to the card. Knight of Wands Upright. It was from my husband's deck and it says on it "Indicates male under 40. Confident, sexy and seductive. Attractive to women. Full of energy. Always in a rush, with a lot of nervous energy. Excellent at starting a project, not good at maintaining thngs. Seeks constant change. Impatient. Passionate temperment, enthusiastic, very emotional. Understands other's motivations."
My deck says: "Departure. A Journey. Advancement into the unknown. Alteration. Flight. Absence. change of residence. Traveler. Emigration. Dark young man."
My first thought was that it it represents someone I am going to meet soon. When I called my husband to tell him our little boy takes after his mommy, he said that elements of what I read to him off the card describe what he is going through today. I dunno. We'll see.
